Because nothing you do in the app is visible to anyone but you, a description of what you saw is genuinely all there is to go on. The app version at the bottom of Settings helps.
Common questions
I got a new iPhone. How do I bring my entries across?
Two ways. If you restore the new phone from an iCloud or computer backup of the old one, everything comes with it automatically. Otherwise open Settings on the old phone, export a backup, save it to Files or iCloud Drive, then install Sinneblick on the new phone and restore from that archive.
I paid for Plus and it is not showing.
Open the Plus screen and tap Restore purchases. Because the app has no account, it asks Apple directly whether this Apple Account owns it. Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple Account you bought it with. If it still does not appear, write to us with the date of purchase.
Is Plus a subscription?
No. It is a single purchase that stays yours, with nothing to cancel. The core of the app is free forever.
My timelapse is taking a long time to build.
The longest looks, the ones that blend each picture into the next across a full year, do take several minutes on the phone itself, because nothing is sent to a server to be rendered. Keep the app in the foreground and let it finish. Shorter ranges and the simpler looks are much faster.
My reminders are not arriving.
Check that notifications are allowed for Sinneblick in the iOS Settings app, and that a Focus mode is not silencing them. Reminders are scheduled on the device itself, so they work with no connection at all.
How do I delete everything?
Settings, then Data, then delete all data. It removes every entry and every selfie from the phone. Deleting the app does the same thing. Neither can be undone, so export a backup first if there is any doubt.
Do you see my selfies or notes?
No, and it is not a policy choice we could quietly reverse: the app has no backend to send them to. The privacy policy covers the one optional exception, anonymous crash reports.
Feature requests and bugs
Both are welcome at the same address. Sinneblick is made by one person, so the roadmap is short and real: things that get asked for repeatedly get built.
